Taillefer Farms was established in 1991 on 120 acres on the southwestern edge of the Flint Hills. This area of Kansas is world famous for the quality of the grasses it produces leaving it as one of the premier grazing areas of the world. These grasses are high in calcium from the limestone layers which underlie and produce the soils. These rich grasses are the foundation of Our feeding program and provide our horses with the nutrients to establish the skeleton and muscle to be the performers anyone would wish to own. We have been fortunate to add additional land to create a total of 180 acres allowing room for horses to grow and run.
Our breeding philosophy is very simple, Breed the Best to the Best. Good horses will produce better horses and Great horses will produce magnificent horses. This has proved out
